Thursday, March 25, 2010: Zip Line Math

At the end of breakfast, we licked the jam spoons! (Mmmm!) Did some homework, like the usual, journal and blog work. Outside in the garden (it was really warm outside), while Mom, Dad and Onkel Manfred planted, Alex and I collected snail shells then Mom and I played badminton. (Boy, do I miss playing badminton!) After a delicious lunch, we walked to an Internet café (it was inside a library). Onkel Manfred enjoyed a nap outside. Kaija, congratulations! You now have a pet hamster, Buddy! He’s so niedlich (cute)! The four of us played on a small zip line; Dad went on it and got his bottom smudged with red mud. We did some zip line math; Dad (or Mom) would say 5 questions, subtraction, addition, or plunkification ☺ (multiplication). We walked back to a S.S. (simple supper). Then I finally took a shower – the showerhead is shaped like a microphone. Then we Zzzzz
