Breakfast formalities behind us, our blogs up-2-date, and our bags and car packed, we head off for our 400km trip from Amboise France to Mont Tramelan, Switzerland. We left the flat plains of the Loire Valley of the 1000 Chateaus, crossed a small bridge and entered the foothills (Jura Mountains) of the Swiss Alps, with tight hair-pin turns, rolling hills turning into small mountains with Suisse Simmental (yellow) grazing on steep slopes. We arrived at a beautiful farmhouse – truly built as one unit, with the west side home and the east side as barn. Tired, we are ready of another adventure, this time, Swiss.
