Tues, February 23, 2010: "Home" in Wiesbaden

(Alexander) We had a delicious peanut butter and jelly sandwich for breakfast, we take a bus to the airport. While waiting for our flight, I see a bouncy ball game machine and get excited. So, for 50 euro cents from mom's change bag, I play the game and very easily get the bouncy ball. This was so much fun that I did it again for Karannina and got her a ball too. During the flight, I look out the window and announce 'look, there are the Alps!' When we were landing Daddy notices Onkel Klaus's car. Sure enough, it was. What a wonderful surprise - Onkel Klaus comes to the Hahn-Frankfurt airport to pick us up. We get to drive down the Autobahn. Wow, now we know why there is a passing lane. We went 221 km/hr in his BMW. The road became smaller at that speed, everyone in front of us on our lane moved over and let us by. We got home, or at least it really felt like our home at Tante Karin's and Onkel Klaus' place, had a wonderful chicken italian noodle soup, twice, because it was so Lecker. Oliver and Sabrina came over and surprised us with two bags of maps and traveling information for the rest of our travels in Europe... Mom washed all our laundry because it really smelled bad. We really enjoyed putting on different clothes that we had left in Wiesbaden. Nothing like smelling clean again and having such wonderful food. I bet dad will be gaining weight again :) After having a wonderful meal we do some souvenir 'show and tell'. Then we go to our comfy, cozy beds at 11:00 (23:00) and enjoy a safe, sound sleep.
