Monday, June 14, 2010: Beaches to Botanical Gardens

Monday, June 14, 2010 (Alexander): After a breakfast of crepes, we head on to a beautiful beach and the new moon tide (largest) has just gone out. We slushed through mud to get to the tidal pools to find shells and other living creatures. We found cool shells and live star fish. For lunch we go to an Indian resturant and I had a food tray of different spices sauces and chips, chicken wings and a curry dish. I enjoyed Irnbrew, which tastes like guarana (drink from Brasil). Next we explore the Royal Botanical Gardens. I enjoyed the rock garden. Karannina and I collected fallen leaves and flower petals. We saved the day by finding the lost "Piggy" and returning to Michela.

Cool shells.

Live starfish.

Mud slopping to get out to the tidal pools. But worth it :)
